Weekend Recap

Weekend Recap

We kicked off the weekend with a salad and pizza night, and I loaded the car for the Saturday early market.

Old Beach Art & Eco Market was hoppin' despite the high temperatures and humidity. It was a special blessing to have my daughter, Jordan, with me. She helped with the initial set up and then enjoyed some time at the beach while I worked. I met great people and caught up with some regulars (also great people- actually, the best!). The Shaina Wreath designs were quite popular- I sold four! My hand- poured Soy Candles were also in demand, especially Beach Day. (I have yet to encounter a market- goer who can pass it up!) I was honored to sign a few copies of my devotional for women, You Are More Than You Know

After the market Jordan and I headed to The Green Cat Juice Bar and enjoyed refreshments and a light snack. I got the Fountain of Youth Smoothie. Highly recommend!

An afternoon soak in the pool cooled us off and set the pace for a relaxing evening at home.

Jon and I attended Foundations Church with excitement over a visiting Israeli band leading the worship service. Shilo Ben Hod brings passionate praise through familiar worship songs as well as original songs. If you've ever heard worship music in Hebrew, you know how lively it is. Connect with the band's pure hearts in worship here.

Then it was back to the pool for some fun times with friends. Jason, Suzanne, and their sweet children made some big splashes and memories as we shared a meal and a refreshing swim.

I think the lunch menu was a crowd pleaser! I made pico with my homegrown tomatoes, and we topped off grilled fish tacos with all the veggies and avocado. I quickly air fried some spicy sweet potatoe slices. A plate of kiwi, strawberries, and bananas offered a sweet finish.

We all dried off and headed back to Foundations for an evening of worship with Shilo Ben Hod. A most fulfilling weekend, to say the least!
