Cue the music! It's summertime! Let's get outside and celebrate! Longer days seemingly invite us to make the most of the time.
I don't know about you, but I'm constantly daydreaming of being outdoors, that is, when I'm not already outdoors. I'm ready to go all-in with it and do some tent camping. Seriously! I don't know if summer awakens the kid in me or what, but for some reason, a rough night of sleeping on an air mattress sounds enticing!
The way I see it, I would finish up the Old Beach Art & Eco Market at Virginia Beach at noon, head to the beach with my hubby for some bike riding and an ocean swim, and then camp at First Landing State Park under the Live Oak Trees.
Want to join us? Even if you choose to nix the camping part, still come and be a part of the market scene at the oceanfront. We have live music, a park filled with savvy makers and vendors, tons of local coffeehouses (try Java Surf Cafe), the Old Beach Farmers Market, and food trucks like Okie Doughkie Donuts! It's the quintessential summertime outing, and I invite you to make the most of any Saturday morning with us at the beach. The Old Beach Art & Eco Market runs 9am- noon all summer, and we're located at 19th St and Cypress Avenue.
