A Christmas Market

A Christmas Market

On a December trip to Ireland, I seriously obsessed about visiting a European Christmas market. It took a few nights, but we finally arrived in Galway and the city center shone with the beauty of lighted decor and an outdoor market! In addition to carnival rides and food, red vendor booths lined the walkway and offered up gift selections from local makers.

For a stateside experience, Richmond, Virginia hosts the wonderful Bizarre Bazaar, a shopping feast with four hundred artisan and vendor booths. The event used to serve as a kick-off to the Christmas season for friends and me who yearly spent the day gathering decor and gifts.

It makes sense that the logical progression for me led to my participating in a Christmas market. I launched into the scene at the Smithfield Mistletoe Market, an evening affair that was well-attended and enjoyed by family and friends who came in support.

Continuing with an excitement for Christmas, I still go all out to bring unique gift shopping and decor products to happy shoppers. This year I'm returning to Jacksonville, Florida for a weekend event that delivers everything a market should be about. The Glass Factory venue provides the rustic setting I love along with an amazing group of organizers, vendors, mobile boutiques, food trucks, and crowds!
