Christmas Home Tour: Part 2

I can tell that things are starting to wind down… This week opened up time for a luxurious tub soak, novel reading, a nap, and thank-you note writing. Now we plan our Christmas Day menu and await the silent and holy night to gather with others and offer up praise to God in a beautiful, candlelit setting. Can you hear the chorus of voices now?

Enjoy Part 2 of our Christmas Home Tour. You may find some inspiration for a last-minute gathering of family and friends. Some festive decor for doorways and railings is close at hand: I simply wired together clusters of cuttings from shrubs in our yard! And food? Keep it easy. Fruits and veggies are a quick prep, as well as ham biscuits. Maybe add a dip and some bite-sized sweets. Satisfaction! Now for some much needed fellowship!

Merry Christmas! May your heart be overflowing with joy for the true meaning of the season! “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

Easy décor.

Keep food simple.

Decorating outdoor spaces is fun.

A small gift for friends who stop by- a handcrafted buoy to imitate the markings of our local waterways.

The “Add an Ornament to It” method works outside too!

My Christmas Wish: A room full of joyous music and singing!
