DIY Tall Vase Filler

Temporarily I’m putting away the oversized tropical leaves that I display in my Pottery Barn glass vase. (Click here to see PB vases.) To transition to a more wintry coastal flair, I’m thinking painted Birch branches will make a beautiful filler. It’s no wonder that the Birch tree is favored for natural décor- the dainty limbs are so graceful.

I found four perfect branches and spray-painted them white. To give the vase filler that rustic glam look, I added beaded stems cut from an unused garland. The pieces easily wrap around the branches.

Easy project! I hope you give it a try and have fun with your paint color and accents.

Happy decorating!
